How to Create a Page on Facebook 



Want to create a page on Facebook? This brief guide will show you how to do it.

Before you log in to your account, go to the Facebook home page (www.facebook.com). There, on the right side of the screen, you will see a link that says "Create a Page," indicated by the red arrow in the next image:


Click on that link and you will be directed to a form. Here, you have two options:

1. If you want to create a page for a business, then, on the left side of the page, you will have to pick a category, set a name for the page you are creating, and check the option that says that you are the official representative of the business in question. Then, click on the button that says “Create Official Page” at the end of the form.
2. If the page you are creating is to support a cause or just for fun, you only have to fill in the field for thePage name on the right side and then click on the button that says “Create Community Page.”

Once you have done this, you will be directed to a new page. Now, to complete the creation of the page, you just need to check the option that says "I already have a Facebook account" and then log in with your email and password and click on the "Login" button. If you don't have an account you can also create it from this page.

At this point the page is already created. You will be the administrator, but not yet a fan. If you want to become the first fan of your own page, click on the large button that says “Like,” at the top of your new page.
